Dr T. P. Sasikumar (DrTPS) is a distinguished scientist, educator, mentor, and author whose career spans more than three decades across space research, national security, higher education, and youth development. A lifelong learner with multidisciplinary qualifications, he has dedicated his career to integrating scientific thinking, Indian Knowledge Systems, values, and holistic education.
He began his professional career in India’s space programme and contributed to satellite applications and national projects. He subsequently served in senior positions in the Government of India and in higher education, including academic leadership, governance, training, and strategic advisory roles.
As an educator and mentor, Dr TPS has pioneered innovative learning and mentoring initiatives for students, teachers, parents, and young professionals. Founder of SHIKSHA and the Shiksha Gurukulam, he has mentored thousands through workshops, camps, counselling, and training programmes. His educational approach emphasizes lifelong learning, character, competence, resilience, social responsibility, and a clear sense of purpose.
